Optaro® XL* turns an iPad into a full-featured video magnifier – perfect for various visual tasks at home, school and work. It’s the smart solution to help the visually impaired with reading, writing and handicrafts.

Specifically designed for reading longer texts, Optaro® XL makes use of the iPad’s large display but has its own features such as 2 centrally located full HD cameras, lines and blinds, adjustable glare-free illumination, and 3 different OCR options including one that is the fastest on the market.

Simply download the Optaro® XL app (requires iPadOS 18.0 or higher), place the iPad in the stand and connect the Optaro® XL with the USB-C cable* (included).

Once connected, the Optaro® XL camera module provides 2.5- 22x magnification and a large field of view visible on the iPad screen. There are two display positions available including one for fast reading and everyday use, and another which provides increased visibility for reading longer texts, writing and handicrafts.

The OCR function includes the ability to scan a full-page of text and allows users to customize how the words are highlighted in playback.
